Life in Year 1 has been hectic as per usual this week. Jeffers class has been learning about and using Cargo equipment during forest school. They also had great fun building homes for animals.
In Dt, we have all been deepening our learning of Brunel and engineering by building our own locomotives. The children learned about wheels, axles and chassis and made their own.
During Science lesson, the children learned about senses. We used our senses to guess what food were in mystery bowls our friends presented to us. We could use our senses of smell and touch but not look at it and then tried to say what was in the bowl.
One more week to go until the Easter Holidays. But before that, we are going on a school trip to visit the SS Great Britian as part of our learning about Brunel. Look out for the pictures in our blog next week.
