This week we visited our local Fire Station. As part of understanding different jobs and our community, we carefully walked to the station in pairs and safely crossed the roads. We got to see inside a fire engine and learn about what equipment they need for fires, floods and car accidents. We got to hear the different alarms and sirens, fired a hose and we got some adults to dress up in the different outfits that fire fighters wear. We also learnt in a fire we need to get out, stay out and call 999. Thank you very much to Stratton Fire Station, we all enjoyed our visit!
